Petaluma police respond to armed robbery at See’s Candies

PETALUMA (KRON) — Police in Petaluma said they responded to an armed robbery at a See’s Candies on Monday afternoon.

It happened at around 5:08 p.m. at the candy store located at 333 S. McDowell Blvd., police said. A store employee told police a suspect went into the store with a gun in his waistband.

The man then demanded money from the employee and ran away from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 20 to 30 years old, wearing a gray San Francisco Giants shirt, blue jeans, and a baseball hat.

The suspect also had a goatee, police said.

It is not known if the suspect is associated with any cars, police said.
