SAN JOSE (KRON) — Sharks fans camped outside of the SAP Center on Friday night to be a part of the first Stanley Cup being played in San Jose in 25 years.
In wake of the team’s first trip to the championship round, fans of Team Teal were pumped up for the big game. However, some were worried that a raffle system would keep them out of the Shark tank.
Some fans camped out for 9 hours, others even longer, just to make sure that they were secured a spot inside the arena. Each fan received a wristband, however it did not guarantee them a ticket.
Averi Harper spoke with fans in the video above.
Regardless if they got in or not, the Sharks delivered with a victory over the Penguins. They now trail the series 2-1 and will host Game 4 on Monday.
