Suspects arrested after an armed robbery pursuit

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police officers responded to the 700 block of 48th Avenue regarding a robbery of a purse at about 12:09 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

The suspects came up behind two juvenile female victims and mugged one of them for her purse, according to police officials.

The suspects then jumped into a red vehicle and fled the scene.

Officers were able to successfully detain subjects matching the suspect descriptions a short distance away from the scene of the crime.

The suspects were booked for robbery and conspiracy.

The driver of the car was also charged with being an unlicensed driver and speeding.

The stolen purse was recovered and its contents were given back to the victim.

Although arrests have been made, anyone with information is encouraged to call the San Francisco Police Department.
