Redwood City firefighter hurt extinguishing condo fire

REDWOOD CITY (KRON) — A firefighter in Redwood City was hurt while extinguishing a two-alarm fire at a condo on Tuesday morning, fire crews said.

The fire happened at around 6:48 a.m. at 4024 Farm Hill Blvd. The fire broke out near Cañada College, a fire dispatcher said.

The fire was burning on the top floor of the three-story complex.

One firefighter was injured while fighting the blaze and taken to a hospital for treatment. The firefighter has since been released from the hospital.

Fire officials did not immediately provide details on the injury to the firefighter or how much damage there was to the building.
