SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)— South San Francisco police have arrested a 52-year-old man Friday morning who is accused of repeatedly driving under the influence.
Officers spotted the man’s car near Hillside Boulevard and Holly Avenue around 8:30 a.m.
Police have identified the driver as Corey Eamon of South San Francisco.
Eamon is accused of being a repeated DUI offender and has had his license suspended before.
When police tried pulling Eamon over, he allegedly left his car on Evergreen Avenue and ran, according to police. Officers were able to catch him and arrest him.
Police say Eamon was under the influence of alcohol and had his licence suspended from driving under the influence in the past.
Eamon was arrested for suspicion of driving on a suspended license, DUI and driving under the influence four times within 10 years, police said.
