SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)—One of San Francisco’s major attractions is about to become harder to reach by car.
Starting Wednesday, a half-mile section of Twin Peaks Boulevard will be closed off at the over-look of cars.
It is for a redesign of the roadway.
The plan is to temporarily reallocate a portion of existing road from vehicle-use to use by bikers and people on foot.
If it becomes really popular, the ban on cars may become permanent.
