VACAVILLE (KRON) –The California Highway Patrol has opened all lanes of westbound Interstate 80 after a collision between two big rigs in Vacaville snarled the Wednesday morning commute.
The accident occurred at around 4:30 a.m. on westbound I-80 at Cherry Glen Road, authorities said.
A big rig was pulled over on the side of I-80 when it was side-swiped by another big rig.
The crash was blocking three lanes of traffic but as of 6 a.m., only two lanes are now blocked.
Both of the drivers suffered minor injuries.
Crews say it will take three to four hours to clean up.
