Clayton, Calif. (KRON) — Evacuations have been ordered in Lake County as the Clayton fire rapidly grows.
According to Cal Fire, the blaze has scorched up to 400 acres and is 20 percent contained, residents are urged to leave the area.
The fire was first reported around 5:30 Saturday evening.
Evacuations have been placed for Spruce Grove Road North to Old Spruce Road in Middletown.
Fire crews have set up an evacuation center at the Highlands Senior Center in Clearlake.
