Power outage in Contra Costa County impacts more than 4,000

CONTRA COSTA CO. (BCN) — A bad connection between circuits led to a power outage this evening in Contra Costa County, a PG&E spokeswoman said.

The power went out at 7:07 p.m. to a swath of 4,791 customers between downtown Brentwood and state Highway 4.

Crews moved all customers safely to other circuits by 9:20 p.m. and power came back on, spokeswoman Karly Hernandez said.

Crews will be out throughout the night to repair the damaged circuits, Hernandez said.
