LOS ANGELES (AP) — “Suicide Squad” isn’t looking as bright in weekend two.

According to studio estimates Sunday, the closely watched anti-hero film dropped an estimated 67 percent from its debut last weekend. Word of mouth may have caught up with the poorly reviewed film, but it still topped the box office with $43.8 million.

Meanwhile, the raunchy animated comedy “Sausage Party” had reason to celebrate. The R-rated film co-written by Seth Rogen lapped up a hefty $33.6 million in its first weekend to take second place. It cost only $19 million to produce.

In third place, Disney’s “Pete’s Dragon” earned $21.5 million against a reported $65 million budget. The Meryl Streep-starrer “Florence Foster Jenkins” opened in eighth place, with $6.8 million from about 1,528 locations.
