PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Does an Oregon town have a connection to ISIS?

The short answer is: No.

But an ISIS recruitment video posted on YouTube might have you thinking otherwise.

In a post on its Facebook page, Medford Police Dept. assured Oregonians its officers are not connected to ISIS, even though one of them is shown in ISIS’ recruiting video.

“From what we can tell, they used some clips of our 2014 recruitment video that we have up on YouTube as well,” the Facebook post states. “It seems to be catching quite a bit of attention… and we don’t want people worried that we are being targeted.”

The ISIS video shows a clip of a Medford police officer alongside several other clips of local law enforcement across the U.S., according to the police department.
