VIDEO: Police looking for suspect who robbed 7-Eleven at knifepoint

CONCORD (KRON)—Concord police are searching for a man accused of robbing a 7-Eleven at knifepoint Tuesday morning with an unknown amount of money.

Officers arrived to the store on Oak Grove Road around 1:55 a.m. after someone reported a robbery there.

Police found that a man wearing a yellow rag over his face walked into the store with a knife demanding cash.

The employee gave the suspect the cash in the register, according to police.

The suspect left on foot toward Oak Grove Road. Officers could not find the suspect after searching the area.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a medium build.

He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and black baggy pants.

No injuries were reported. Officers are trying to get surveillance footage from nearby to see if it may have information important to the investigation, police said.
