Victim in fatal Livermore crash identified

LIVERMORE (KRON)—A driver who died in a collision in Livermore on Monday morning has now been identified by the Alameda County Coroner’s Office.

72-year-old Leeann Tagliapietra of Dublin was in the crash that happened around 6 a.m. on First Street.

Investigators say a car travelling north hit Tagliapietra’s car that was driving south.

Tagliapietra was taken to the hospital in critical condition. She later died from her injuries.

Authorities suspect a third car might have been involved in the crash and are looking for that particular driver. The suspected third car was driving south.

First Street was blocked for several hours in both directions.
