SAN ANDREAS (KRON)— Cal Fire announced Sunday night the Willow Fire in Calaveras County was sparked by a woman driving under the influence.
Investigators found a car driving along a road started several fires in the area.
The flames broke out after 1 p.m. Sunday and has burned 450 acres. It is now 15 percent contained.
The California Highway Patrol arrested Renee Hogan near one of the fires which also burned her car.
Hogan was charged with driving under the influence of drugs.
Cal Fire peace officers filed other charges related to sparking a fire.
