SAN JOSE (BCN) — Police have identified two men killed in separate incidents late last week in San Jose, the city’s 34th and 35th homicides this year.
San Jose residents Victor Trejo, 44, and Ricardo Michel, 24, died two days apart and no suspects have been found in connection with either of their deaths, police said.
Around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a report of a possible dead body in the area of Herald and Bonita avenues, where they found a man later identified as Trejo with visible injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Trejo died of blunt force trauma based on an autopsy by the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office, police said.
Michel was found stabbed in the area of Bascom Avenue and Leon Drive just before 12:15 p.m. Saturday, where officers were dispatched on a reported disturbance, according to police.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
