DUBLIN (KRON) — A mother and her son have been arrested after a stabbing in Dublin put a man in the hospital Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded around 2:50 a.m. to the area of Brannigan Street near Fallon Middle School on reports of a stabbing.
When police arrived, they found a 22-year-old man who was suffering from an apparent stab wound to the right hand and abdomen. He was transported to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
An investigation revealed the victim had been staying with a friend nearby in the area of Brodie Way and Houlton Street for several days.
Police responded to the residence and were able to locate evidence of an attack leading from the street to the front door.
Police then contacted residents Donna Forehand and her 18-year-old son Trevor Forehand.
Officers learned that the victim and Trevor were friends. They had gotten into an argument which led Trevor to allegedly stab the victim with a knife.
Trevor Forehand was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon, and Donna Forehand was arrested on suspicion of being and accessory to the incident.
