VALLEJO (BCN) — Solano County sheriff’s deputies have arrested one of two suspects in the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old Vallejo woman last year, according to a statement issued Monday afternoon.
A’Tierra Westbrook was allegedly gunned down by Demetrius McClain, 26, while she leaving her home in the 300 block of Benicia Road Aug. 3, 2015.
McClain, a Richmond resident, was arrested by deputies today during a traffic stop in Vacaville and booked into county jail on suspicion of murder and violating the terms of his parole.
He’s being held without bail, and is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Solano County Superior Court.
Richard Edward Hill III, of Vallejo, allegedly acted as McClain’s getaway driver. Deputies say he should be considered armed and dangerous, and they’ve obtained a warrant for his arrest.
