DUBLIN (KRON)—Police are looking for four masked suspects who followed a family into their Dublin home and stole items inside on Sunday, according to police.
The crime was reported to police at 9:30 p.m. on North Terracina Drive.
A mother and her three children pulled into the driveway and got out of their car.
They went into the home through the garage where four masked suspects followed them inside, police said.
Two of the suspects were armed with handguns.
The four ransacked the home and stole personal items, said police lieutenant Victor Fox.
“There’s no indication that she was followed from anywhere,” Fox said. “What we believe right now is from other video surveillance is that the vehicle was circling from inside the neighborhood for at least a half-hour before the crime occurred. That’s what we think right now that this was a crime of opportunity
No injuries were reported.
The suspects’ car is described as a white, sedan Infinity FX.
The car was last seen making a left turn of Volterra Drive from North Terracina.
If you have any information about the case, you are asked to call the Dublin Police Department.
