LOS ANGELES (AP/KRON) — Metrolink says a Southern California commuter train has stopped near Sun Valley after striking a vehicle on the tracks.
Television news helicopters show emergency responders on the scene Tuesday about 15 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
Twenty-one people were hospitalized in the crash.
A witness said the truck tried to cross the tracks just as the train approached. Officials believe the train clipped the back of the truck.
None of the injuries are considered life-threatening.
Metrolink says the crash happened on the Antelope Valley Line headed to Los Angeles.
It is not clear if anyone will face any charges.
