Carjacking pursuit ends in major crash at AT&T Park in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Three suspects are in custody after an attempted carjacking ended in a major crash Wednesday morning in San Francisco.

Officers responded to a call of a carjacking that took place on the 6000 block of Geary Boulevard at 3:24 a.m., according to officials with the San Francisco Police Department.

Police found the car and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The car took off and police pursued.

The car then crashed into a light pole and parking meter on 2nd and King Street, near AT&T Park.

Two of the suspect remained in the car. A third suspect tried to run from the scene but officers were able to catch the suspect.

All three suspects were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.

After treatment, they will be taken to SF County Jail pending charges related to this incident.
