Victim maced in Oakland home invasion robbery

OAKLAND (KRON) — A victim was sprayed with mace during a home invasion robbery in Oakland Friday morning, according to police.

The robbery was reported at 5:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Hamilton Place, off of Harrison Street near Westlake Middle School.

A lone male suspect fled the scene with some of the victim’s personal items after spraying a man inside the home with mace.

The victim was taken to a hospital with complaints of pain from being maced, police said.

No arrests have been made.
