SAN JOSE (KRON) — An ACE train has struck a trespasser in San Jose on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
It happened south of the San Jose Diridon Station at Virginia Street. It may impact Gilroy/Tamien service, officials said.
Riders are being asked to expect major delays on ACE 4. The train was on its way to the San Jose Diridon station at 65 Cahill St. when the incident occurred after it left a yard, rail service officials said shortly after 3:30 p.m.
Northbound Caltrain 261 will depart track 3 from Diridon instead of Tamien. There will be a VTA bus bridge between Tamien and San Jose.
