RICHMOND (KRON)—More than 2 dozen people have been arrested following a two-month investigation into illegal activities at a Richmond hotel Tuesday morning.
Drugs, guns and evidence of fraud and mail theft were seized by officers at the scene, according to police.
The activities were reported inside several rooms at the Marina Bay Inn & Suites on Cutting Boulevard.
During the course of their two month investigation, police found firearms trafficking, mail theft fraud and selling illegal drugs was going on in six rooms inside the hotel, police said.
Along with the illegal activities, police also found the hotel rooms were either broken into or reserved fraudulently.
The 25 suspects were arrested after police obtained a search warrant into several rooms.
Investigators seized four handguns, an assault weapon, illegal drugs, a credit card manufacturing machine, stolen mail and credit information.
The suspects were arrested on charges relating to the evidence found in the hotel rooms.
Some of the suspects were arrested for outstanding arrest warrants not related to the case.
The identities of the suspects have not been released.
