VIDEO: Fairfield police seeking person of interest in West Texas Street homicide


FAIRFIELD (KRON) — Fairfield police are searching for a person of interest in a West Texas Street homicide, according to Lt. Rob Lenke.

Police released surveillance images of the person of interest. The victim has been identified as 57-year-old Fairfield resident Mark Merle Pyne.

He died from multiple stab wounds, police said.

Police received a call around 4:45 p.m. on Monday about an unresponsive male in the grass in the 1700 block of West Texas Street at Fifth Avenue, Lenke said.

Anyone who was in that area between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday is asked to call the Fairfield Police Department at (707) 428-7600.
