Fremont police searching for missing 83-year-old Alzheimer’s patient

FREMONT (KRON) — Fremont police are searching for a missing 83-year-old man, who is known to frequent bars in the Alameda area, according to police.

Police said William Shea was last seen wearing an olive green sports jacket, light pants, and green shoes. He is an Alzheimers patient.

He was last seen at around 11:30 a.m. Thursday also wearing a Korean War Veteran baseball cap. Police dogs tracked Shea to the Fremont BART station.

Police said Shea took money out of his bank in Alameda several hours after going missing. He is known to go to bars in the Alameda area, police said.

If you see him, you are asked to call Fremont police.
