VIDEO: Man, woman shot in their Concord home

CONCORD (KRON) — A man and woman were shot in their Concord home Wednesday night where they found large amounts of marijuana, police said.

Officer responded at 9:50 p.m. to reports of multiple gunshots heard in the 2900 block of Bella Drive.

Police found a 29-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds in their home.

Officers learned that one or two suspects had entered the house and shot the pair.

A large amount of marijuana was seized by police that was found inside one of the bedrooms, police Cpl. Christopher Blakely said.

Police are investigating whether marijuana was behind the attack, police said.

“I think it would be unusual for this just to be a random act,” Blakely said.

The suspect or suspects were reportedly wearing all black and left in a vehicle after the shooting.

The man and the woman are in stable condition at this time.

Anyone with additional information about this incident has been asked to call Concord Police Detective Kevin Giacoletto at (925) 671-3030.
