Two arrested for theft and possession of narcotics in Benicia

BENICIA (KRON) — Police arrested two suspect’s in connection to a theft case in Benicia and possession of narcotics, Thursday night.

According to Benicia police, Nicholas Brown and Natalie McClenahan were arrested after police discovered stolen items from a store and a substantial amount of methamphetamine.

Officers responded to a store theft on Military Way, witnesses provided descriptions of the suspects followed by vehicle and plate number.

An area check was conducted, and officers found the car nearby and approached Brown who was inside the vehicle. After a car check police discovered stolen items from the store, and a local hotel room key.

At the hotel room police discovered McClenahan inside the room, and found more than 40 grams of methamphetamine. Police said, there was evidence of sale of narcotics.

Both suspects were booked into the Solano County jail.

Benicia police thanked the community for their involvement in catching the suspects.
