ROHNERT PARK (KRON) — A woman said she was sexually assaulted on Saturday night during a concert at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, according to SSU’s Acting Chief of Police and Safety Services David Dougherty.
The alleged assault took place at around 9 p.m. at the Green Music Center’s Weill Lawn, police said.
The woman was not acquainted with the suspect who is described as a white man in his early 20s, 6 feet tall, with brown hair and a thin, athletic build, Dougherty said.
SSU police released a photo Wednesday of a person of interest, but police did not say whether he is the suspect in the alleged assault.
A police dispatcher referred all calls to SSU’s News and Media Relations spokesman Nicholas Grizzle, who said Friday afternoon that the incident is still under investigation and he has no other details.
