ANTIOCH (KRON) — Three men were shot and hurt last week in Antioch in possible related attacks, police said on Monday.
Officers said they heard gunshots around the Sycamore Drive area at around 9:45 p.m. on Sept. 26.
Soon after that, police began receiving calls of shots fired in front of a home on the 2200 block of Dogwood Way, not far from where officers first heard the shots, according to police.
When officers arrived at the scene of the shooting, they found a 26-year-old man with a bullet wound to his leg. The victim was uncooperative with investigators and was taken to the hospital for treatment, according to police.
While officers continued to investigate the shooting, they received a call from the hospital telling them that another victim, a 17-year old male, had been dropped off at the emergency room, also with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The second victim told officers that he was dropped off by a 23-year-old man who officers knew. Police soon found the man, still in his car, near the Quick Stop market on Sycamore Drive.
This man also turned out to have a gunshot wound, this time to the elbow, according to officers.
None of the men’s identities were released by police and none of them claimed to know their attacker.
A fourth man, 22-year-old Lawrence Harmon, who was riding in the third victim’s car, was arrested on an outstanding robbery warrant, police said.
Anyone with information about the shootings has been asked to call police at (925) 778-2441.
