TOWNVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Six-year-old Jacob Hall will have a superhero funeral, according to his mother Renae Hall.
She says Jacob loved superheroes, and his uncles and brothers, who will be the pallbearers at the funeral, will be dressed in superhero outfits.
Jacob died Saturday after being shot at Townville Elementary school with another student and a teacher. The 14-year-old suspect also is charged with killing his father shortly before the shooting at the nearby school.
Jacob’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 5th, and his parents are asking that everyone dress as their favorite superhero. The funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m.
“Heroes 4 Higher LLC” says that they will be leaving West Virginia at about 4:00 a.m. so that they can attend Hall’s funeral.
They will be bringing the HopeMobile to the funeral.
Family and Friends’ visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Oakdale Baptist Church, according to Jacob’s aunt.
Classes are to resume Thursday. Teachers will report to work Tuesday for counseling and class preparation on Wednesday before classes resume.
