LIVERMORE (KRON) — Livermore police are investigating an armed bank robbery that happened on Saturday afternoon, police Chief Michael Harris said.
Police said the robbery happened at around 12:44 p.m. at the US Bank, located at 2125 Second St. Several 911 calls reported the bank had been robbed at gunpoint.
The suspect, a man, entered the bank and displayed a gun at the teller and demanded money, Harris said. The man then ran away from the bank.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 6 feet tall, with a medium build and wearing a red/white plaid shirt and dark baseball cap.
