Sketch released of man in Palo Alto lewd conduct incident

PALO ALTO (KRON)—Police have released a sketch of a man who possibly engaged in lewd conduct at a Palo Alto park last week.

The incident was reported Friday around 4 p.m. when a man might have exposed himself to a 14-year-old girl at Bol Park.

When officers arrived to the scene, the suspect left.

The girl was riding her bike near the playground area of the park when she saw a man sitting on a bench.

As she kept riding through the park, she noticed the man pulled down his shorts possibly exposing his penis through his underpants.

The suspect stayed seated the entire time and did not try to communicate with the 14-year-old.

The girl left the park and called her mother.

The suspect is described as a tan, white man in his 50s with short, spikey white hair and a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and cargo style pants.

Detectives are trying to figure out if this case is linked to any other cases.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Palo Alto police at 650-329-2413. Anonymous tips can be e-mailed to or sent via text message or voice mail to 650-383-8984.
