TREASURE ISLAND (KRON)—Two people were extricated from a car Saturday night after a car went into the water on Treasure Island.
It happened in the area of Avenue N and 3rd St. around 8:20 p.m.
Firefighters and police responded to the incident, according to San Francisco Fire Department spokesman Jonathan Baxter.
The two adults inside the car were not injured, but were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
San Francisco police are investigating why the car went into the water.
