(KRON) Tiger Woods is pulling out of the Safeway Open in Napa.

The 14 time major champion announced on his website Monday morning he is withdrawing from the tournament.

Woods was to be teamed up with the Warriors Steph Curry on Wednesday in the Pro-Am portion of the tournament.

Woods has not played in a tournament in 14 months due to injuries mainly with his back.

The Golf Channel is reporting that it is not health related but performance related.
