RICHMOND (KRON) — One man was killed and another was injured in a shooting at La Moine Park in Richmond Monday night, according to police.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 10:50 p.m. on Morningside Drive near Valley View Elementary School and found two men with gunshot wounds, police said.
One of the men died on the scene. He has been identified by police as 21-year-old Eric Brown of Richmond.
Brown worked as a mechanic, according to his family.
His sister-in-law said he had the biggest heart in the world.

The other man is a 19-year-old from Rodeo who was shot in the lower extremities, but is expected to survive.
The two men were best friends and grew up together.
No arrests have been made in the case, but officers believe it is an isolated incident.
Police have not determined a motive yet.
