OAKLAND (KRON)—Oakland police arrested two robbery suspects Tuesday morning, according to a police spokeswoman.

Officers responded to reports of a woman screaming on Harrison St. near Kaiser Center around 9:20 a.m., said police spokeswoman Officer Johnna Watson.

Police found the woman was a victim of a strong-arm robbery.

Two suspects demanded for the woman to give up her belongings and left.

They did not appear to be armed.

Witnesses gave police a description of the two suspects.

One of the witnesses followed them to Lake Merritt.

The suspects have been described as men in their late teens, Watson said.

Police remained at the scene until late Tuesday morning to investigate the case.
