PORTLAND, Ore. (KRON) — Nora, a 10-month-old polar bear from Powell, Ohio, is about to make her debut at the Oregon Zoo.
The zoo recently released this video of Nora splashing around in a kiddie pool.
Nora was born at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in November 2015 and was raised by zookeepers after her mother stopped providing care.
She will join the Oregon Zoo’s polar bear exhibit after spending 30 days in quarantine. Zoo visitors will see Nora along with 31-year-old Tasul in mid-October. Tasul’s brother, Conrad, was euthanized in July after a tumor was found on his liver.
