ALBANY (KRON) — Police are investigating a stalking incident that happened on Saturday in Albany, authorities said.
The 17-year-old victim was walking with her 4-year-old sibling along Jackson Street near Red Oak Way at around 2:57 p.m., according to police.
The victim noticed a newer, black, truck driving in the area. The victim also recognized the driver from two previous encounters, one of which was recently reported to the City of Albany Police Department.
The man looked surprised and then angry to see the victim, police said.
The man continued to drive around the area and pass by the victim. The victim then walked to the University Village of Albany Community Center and called police.
Authorities checked the area but were unsuccessful in locating the stalker.
The man is described as a Hispanic or Asian male, in his 40’s, with a short crew-cut style haircut, small eyes, round face, heavy/muscular build, wearing a brown shirt, driving a newer black pick-up truck.
