SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton campaigned in San Franciso Thursday afternoon.
Clinton was at the San Francisco for a fundraising event at the Bill Graham Auditorium.
The Democratic nominee for president said “I have been so struck by and encouraged by what my friend and our first lady, Michelle Obama, so powerfully reminded us of. And just today, if you haven’t seen it, you need to see her speech in New Hampshire where she talked about the stakes in this election being high, but especially high for women and girls.”
Clinton went on to say “Any of you see that last debate? Well, it is a little challenging debating someone like that. He seems remarkably unacquainted with the truth. But as Michelle Obama said, when they go low, we go high.” “It is not just about who wins this election, it’s actually bigger than that. We need to demonstrate that we have a hopeful, positive, unifying vision.”
Organizers say the event is the final one for Clinton in San Francisco before the Nov. 8 election.
