SAN RAfAEL (KRON) — North and Southbound traffic wass blocked Friday morning as a big-rig carrying produce spun out and overturned on California Highway 101.
KRON4’s Will Tran was the first on the scene, where the big-rig travelling northbound spun out taking out the middle divider on the highway blocking a total of three lanes.
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the accident was first reported at 8:24 a.m. and the semi-truck was discovered on it’s side blocking two northbound lanes. Officers also discovered debris on a southbound lane blocking that lane.
A sig-alert was issued as of 8:35 a.m. northbound Highway 101 near Lincoln Avenue exit in Marin County.
One minor injury has been reported. The driver appeared to be unharmed, and is being treated by paramedics.
The investigation of the crash is still ongoing.
