One injured in house fire near downtown San Jose

SAN JOSE (KRON) — Crews gained control of a two-alarm house fire that has injured one person near downtown San Jose Tuesday morning, fire officials said.

Crews responded to a report of a residential fire in the 200 block of North Seventh Street shortly before 9:30 a.m., a fire dispatcher said.

One injury was reported, but the extent of the injuries are unknown at this time.

The fire at the two-story building was under control around 10:15 a.m.

No evacuation or shelter-in-place orders were issued as of about 9:45 a.m., according to the dispatcher.
