Service to be held for elderly woman killed in San Jose home invasion robbery

SAN JOSE (KRON) — The viewing of Miss Flo, an elderly woman who died after being brutally beaten during a home invasion robbery, is set to take place Wednesday in San Jose.

Florence “Flo Douglas,” 88, known as Miss Flo “Mother” Douglas, passed away on Oct. She was hospitalized in critical condition after the beating that took place at her residence on Cragmont Avenue in San Jose on September 12.

The viewing will be held at the Chapel Of Flowers at 3 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Pail’s Baptist Church in San Jose.

Both the viewing and funeral are for friends and family only.

Miss Flo was a community pillar known who rarely missed a Sunday service at St. Pail’s Baptist Church.

19-year-old Zachary Cuen was arrested in connection with the robbery and beating.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to help Miss Flo’s family.
