ROCHESTER, NH (KRON) — Police are trying to figure out how prescription drugs ended up in a gumball vending machine.
A child found pills inside of a prize that came out of a gumball vending machine at a New Hampshire Pizza restaurant.
Instead of a ring or temporary tattoo like most gumball machine prizes, the third container contained two blood pressure pills and one pill for kidney stones.
Police say that the medication was not life-threatening, even if a child had taken it.
The manager was shocked and the restaurant owner said he didn’t know how the pills ended up in the machine.
Authorities plan on reviewing the surveillance tape to see if the machine was tampered with.
