KING CITY (KRON)—A magnitude 3.3 earthquake hit Monterey County Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was reported around 4:35 a.m. just 17 miles east of King City.
It was almost five miles deep.
Two smaller quakes hit Monterey County on Sunday, officials at the USGS said.
A magnitude 1.5 quake hit 25 miles away from King City around 10 a.m. and a magnitude 1.2 earthquake hit 17 miles away from Soledad before 3 p.m.
