NOVATO (KRON) — A 40-year-old woman was arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run on Oct. 25 in Novato, police said on Monday.
Police said the collision happened at around 1:17 a.m. in the area of Rowland Boulevard and Redwood Boulevard. When officers arrived, they said they found a man unresponsive in the roadway.
Police said the man had significant trauma and was dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as 64-year-old John Krabbe, of Novato. The suspect car had sped away before officers arrived, police said.
On Sunday at around 1:23 a.m., police said they found a car with extensive damage consistent with the hit-and-run.
Police arrested the registered owner of the car, identified as Lola Loiseau, and booked her into Marin County Jail for vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run.
