Road rage driver pulls knife onto man in Gilroy

GILROY (BCN) — A road rage incident resulted in a man confronting another man and threatening him with a knife at a Gilroy Safeway store last week, police said Tuesday.

The incident occurred on Oct. 30 around 8 p.m. at the Safeway store at 905 First St., according to police.

After an alleged road rage incident, the two men involved encountered each other at the store and an argument ensued.

During the argument, the suspect pulled out a 3 to 4 inch folding knife and threatened to stab the victim unless he left the store, police said.

The store’s surveillance system was able to capture images of the suspect. He was last seen leaving the store parking lot in a truck, heading east on Wren Avenue, according to police.
