Gwyneth Borden says it’s the local food industry’s way of recognizing restaurants and bars throughout the Bay Area.
There are eighteen categories in all, including chefs and managers, bartenders and servers, and even the best food truck.
There’s a people’s choice award, where you can vote on your favorite food spot.
Nico’s has been nominated for the people’s choice award. Brenda’s soul-food kitchen has also been nominated. So are Copita in Sausalito and Tressle.
So, vote for your top candidate.
Certainly, it is a way to be part of an election process that won’t leave a bad taste in your mouth.
