Two arrested for stabbing homeless man in San Jose

SAN JOSE (KRON)—Police have arrested two people in connection to a deadly stabbing of a homeless man in San Jose last month.

Officers responded to reports of a possible dead body on Oct. 10 around 10:30 p.m. on Ridder Park Drive.

When they arrived, they found a man unconscious and not breathing.

The man was later identified as Jeffrey Cooper and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cooper was found with at least one stab wound.

San Jose police homicide investigators identified the suspects as Randolph Sandoval and Roman Alvarado.

They were both arrested for murder and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.
