Decision 2016: Long lines expected at Bay Area polls

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Election Day is finally here and it’s time for Americans to cast their votes.

Polling places around the Bay Area are warning voters of possible long lines. Find your polling location here.

The Santa Clara Registrar of Voters says they expect around 80 percent voter turnout on Tuesday.

The ballot is exceptionally long and complicated this year with not only the general election but also with state and local measures. Make sure to do your research before you head to the polls. You can find information on CA propositions here.
