(KRON) — A drug trend is causing explosions across the Bay Area, the state, and the country.
Victims, some of them innocent bystanders, are being severely burned or even killed.
It can be made in home labs with a chemical that is odorless, easy to get, and extremely volatile.
The drug is called butane honey oil or hash oil, and it goes by the street names of wax, shatter, or BHO.
On Friday night, KRON4’s Maureen Kelly takes an in-depth look at the move to regulate the substance used to make the drug.
